## Steps

1. Open "Transfers" (from Inventory) and press "New transfer".
2. Choose "From store" and "To store" (they must differ), then "Add product", search, and enter the "Quantity" per item; the sending branch's "on hand" shows.
3. Write a "Note (optional)…" and press "Send transfer". The status is "In transit" — or "Pending approval" if "Require transfer approval" is on in Settings, in which case the owner presses "Approve transfer".
4. In the receiving branch: open the transfer and press "Confirm receipt" (or "Reject"). The status becomes "Received".
5. For suggestions: the "Suggested moves" section shows branches below minimum against branches with surplus — "Create" makes the transfer directly.

## What happens in the books

Stock moves at cost from branch to branch with an entry carrying both branches; no sales and no purchases.

## What the system does not do

It does not print a waybill or track the driver.

## Common questions

**Where are the goods between sending and receiving?**

In the "In transit" status: out of the sending branch and not yet in the receiving one until "Confirm receipt"; they count for neither.

**The receiving branch got a smaller quantity.**

It confirms the actual quantity; the difference shows on the transfer and is handled with a stock adjustment in the sending branch with the reason.
