An Excel sheet with code, item, unit, expected and counted columns; the difference and its value at the item's cost are computed for you, with a total row. Right-to-left in the Arabic and Kurdish versions, frozen headers, thousands separators. The CSV twin imports into any system.

## Columns

- **Expected**: The quantity your notebook or system says before counting.
- **Counted**: What you actually found on the shelf, in the base unit (pieces).
- **Difference and value**: Computed: counted − expected, times the unit cost.

## Common questions

### How do I import the count into Dashing?

Counts are not imported as a file; products import from CSV with an opening quantity, and later counts are done inside the system so the differences are booked.
