When the sheet stops being enough
The sheet does not know the drawer. In Dashing a cash expense comes out of the shift's drawer and shows in its count, the receipt photo attaches from the phone, and each category has a monthly budget.

Are salaries an expense here?
Yes, under "Salaries". Dashing has no payroll either; salaries are logged as an expense.
