Your books are seen by you and the people you add. Nobody else.
The questions every shop owner asks before putting sales and debts into a system: who sees them, and what happens to them if they stop paying, want to leave, or the company closes. Here are the answers, as Dashing works today.
Who sees your books
- You, and the users you add yourself, each with their own permissions: the cashier sees the till, the manager their branch, the accountant the books
- The Dashing team does not open your books unless you ask for support, and then for that request only
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers, companies or any third party, and there are no ads inside the system
- Your customers see only what you send them: the receipt or the statement through a private link, nothing else
If you stop paying
Your shop returns to the free plan with all its data: you sell, count and keep the books as before, your extra branches keep working (you just cannot add a new one), and Dash returns to 10 messages an hour. No account is locked and no data is deleted because you did not renew.
If you want to leave
In Settings there is a button called "Export everything". It gives you one file with your products in the same columns the import reads, so you open them in Excel or import them into another system, your customers and suppliers with their balances, your invoices, and every line in your books. On the free and the yearly plan alike, at any time, without asking anyone.
If Dashing closes
If the service ever shuts down for good, you hear from us at least 90 days ahead, and the export button keeps working throughout. This is a commitment written into the terms of use, not on a marketing page.
How it is kept
Every shop is kept apart from the others in the database, the connection is encrypted, and a backup is taken every night. The security page says the rest in plain words.
What it does not do
Not yet available: a delete-account button inside the system (deletion today is a WhatsApp request), and a published policy on official requests.
Common questions
Do my shop's numbers reach the tax office?
We do not send your data to anyone. There is no e-invoicing system in Iraq today that links shops to the tax office, and Dashing builds no such link except by your own decision.
Does my accountant see everything?
They see what the role allows: the books, the entries and the reports. You add them from the users screen and remove them whenever you wish.
Does my customer see other people's debts?
No. A statement link belongs to one customer and shows that customer's account only, and it expires after 30 days.
How long does a receipt link stay valid?
A year. The paper itself is the secret, so only whoever holds the receipt can open the link.
