Adding a branch and switching the active store

From Settings: "Add branch" with a code and names in three languages, deactivate or activate it, then switch the "Active store" at the top to see one branch or all.

A branch is a place with its own stock, drawer and staff; a kiosk in front of the same shop does not need one.

Steps

  1. Open "Settings", then the branches section, and press "Add branch".
  2. Enter the "Code" (say BGD), the "Name (Arabic)", "Name (English)" and "Name (Kurdish)", then "Save".
  3. The branch gets its own drawer and stock accounts automatically. To pause a branch: "Deactivate"; to bring it back: "Activate".
  4. To switch what you see: at the top of the screen "Active store" → "Select store": one branch or all. Reports, stock and shifts follow the choice.
  5. Attach each staff member to their branch from "Staff" (staff and permissions).

Notes

  • Items and prices are shared across branches; quantities are per branch.
  • "Require transfer approval" in the same settings makes every transfer between branches wait for the owner's approval.

What the system does not do

It does not delete a branch that has activity; deactivating hides it and keeps its record.

Common questions

Does a new branch cost more?
No. The yearly plan is one whatever the number of branches and users.
A staff member sees only one branch.
That is intended: staff are attached to their branch. The owner (and authorised roles) switch the active store and see all.
