Switching the interface language and the light or dark theme

Every user picks their own language; عربي, کوردی or English; from the language button at the top, and the light or dark theme from Settings.

Language is a setting per user, not per shop: the cashier in Kurdish, the accountant in Arabic and the owner in English on the same data.

Steps

  1. Press the language button at the top of the screen (it shows your current language: "عربي", "کوردی" or "English").
  2. Pick the language. The interface flips right-to-left or back immediately, and digits stay Western (0–9) in every language.
  3. For the theme: open "Settings", then "Language & appearance", and choose "Light" or "Dark".
  4. Both choices are saved on your device for this user and survive signing out and back in.

Notes

  • Kurdish is Sorani in the Arabic script, not Kurmanji.
  • The public site's language (dashing.krd) is independent of the app's; each is switched from its own button.

What the system does not do

It does not translate the product and customer names you type — they appear as written in every language.

Common questions

Does the receipt language follow the interface language?
The printed receipt and the WhatsApp link come out in the interface language the staff member is using when they issue them, and a customer statement is sent in the language of the customer page.
The cashier works in Kurdish and the accountant in Arabic — do they see the same screens?
Yes. Language is a per-user setting on their device; the data and the books are one.
