Every report is built from the same entries the till, purchasing and expenses write; no manual entry and no exported file.
Steps
- Open "Financial", then "Reports", and choose the period and the branch (or all).
- "Income statement": "Total revenue" − "Cost of goods" − "Expenses" = "Net profit" and "Net margin".
- "Balance sheet": "Total assets" (cash, receivables, inventory) against "Liabilities + equity" (payables, capital, profits) — it shows "Balanced".
- "Cash flow statement": "Starting cash", "Net change", "Ending cash".
- "General ledger" for the accountant: every account with its entries, "Opening balance" and "Closing balance"; plus the "Sales report", "Inventory report" (stock value and top sellers), "Expense report" and "Customer report".
- Aging: the receivables screen shows the distribution of debts by age for all customers, and each customer's (and supplier's) page shows four aging buckets and the "Oldest unpaid invoice"; the home screen ranks overdue customers by their effect on your cash.
- "VAT / tax return" appears only if you enabled a tax from Settings.
Notes
- Any figure in a report can be asked about through Dash: 'why did the margin drop in July?'.
- The trial balance, balance sheet, cash flow, sales, expenses and aging reports download as PDF from the export button; the general journal as PDF or Excel from "Transactions"; the invoice, customer and product lists as CSV from their screens.
What the system does not do
It does not file tax returns with any authority and does not compute yearly income tax.
Common questions
- The balance sheet shows "Unbalanced".
- That should never happen — every entry is rejected unless it balances. If you see it, message us on WhatsApp at once with the shop name and the date.
- Where do I see one branch's profit?
- Switch the "Active store" at the top of the screen to that branch; every report reads for the chosen branch or for all.
