Picking the right payment method is what makes the evening drawer count match. What matters in the books is not the channel's name but where the money landed.

Steps

  1. Press "Charge" once the cart is complete.
  2. Pick the method: "Cash" (asks for "Cash received" and shows the change), "Card" (the full amount, booked as a bank collection), "Zain Cash" (the full amount), or "Credit" (requires a customer).
  3. For credit: pick the customer and enter "Paid now (optional)" if they paid part. If the amount exceeds their credit limit, the over-limit message appears and an owner or an authorised staff member must approve.
  4. To split a payment between two methods (cash + card, cash + "Transfer / wallet", or "Gift card"): switch to the "Invoice" mode, choose "Split", and allocate until "Balanced ✓" appears.
  5. Confirm. The receipt states the payment method.

What the system does not do

It does not connect to the bank's POS terminal or the wallet to verify that the money arrived; it records what you choose.

Common questions

The customer paid half in cash and the rest on credit — how do I record it?
In the fast mode choose "Credit" with a customer and enter "Paid now (optional)"; "Remaining on credit" appears and is booked on their balance.
Where do I see Zain Cash sales separately?
In the fast mode Zain Cash is recorded like cash today. To keep it apart, use the "Invoice" mode with the "Split" method and the "Transfer / wallet" slot.
