Printing the receipt, saving it as a PDF, or sending it on WhatsApp
From the invoice page: "Save & print" for an 80 mm thermal printer, "Print PDF only", or "Send" on WhatsApp with a link the customer opens on their phone.

The receipt leaves in three ways from the invoice page, all using the same template in the interface language.
Steps
- Open the invoice (from the "Invoice" mode once it is complete, or from the "Invoices" screen for any earlier sale).
- To print: press "Save & print"; the browser's print dialog opens — choose the thermal printer. In the fast mode, press "Reprint" for the last sale.
- For a PDF file: choose "Print PDF only", then save as PDF in the print dialog.
- For WhatsApp: press "Send", then "WhatsApp"; WhatsApp opens with a message carrying the receipt link. The customer opens the receipt on their phone with no app.
- To set what appears on the paper: "Settings" → "Receipt settings": the shop name and logo, and the "Receipt footer" (a thank-you line or the return policy).
Notes
- A customer note written on the invoice appears at the bottom of the receipt; an internal note does not.
- Every receipt carries the same invoice number as the books.
What the system does not do
It does not send the receipt automatically without your tap, and it does not send SMS.
Common questions
- Why is the WhatsApp link not available right after an offline sale?
- The link is created on the server after the sale uploads. Once the connection returns and the sale syncs, sending becomes available from the invoice page.
- Which printer works?
- Any 80 mm thermal printer your operating system can print to (USB or network). No special driver inside Dashing.
